The weather is a state of mind. I've been at SITM when it rained, when it was friggin cold and when it was hot. I had a great time every time! And this year will be no different. See you there! I especially want to see Big Dave's rebuilt engine with the heads I built for it.

Looks good to me. My estimated guess is I should be there Sat morning. I'm driving the rental from Ft. Myers to Pensacola to turn it in & p/u the 88 if it's ready. The euro gets here tomorrow morning, man I wish I was driving that to sitm.

>Sat 76/57 Isolated Tstorms
>Sun 81/61 Isolated Tstorms

You left out that their is only a 30% chance of Islolated Tstorms, and even then those usually happen in the late afternoon. Also the temps at Grandfather Mt will be approx 6-8 degrees below that forcast due to altitude. (Linville.NC forcast is 71 Sat, and 77 Sun.)

Should be absolutedly PERFECT weather!! :-)

I am always 100% stressed out about weather for our event, ...POSITIVE THOUGHTS PLEASE :-)

See ya in 3 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kempf has started the trip down already, that's why there is Rain in the forcast. Check the current rian conditions between VT and Central PA (Doc Mohr's place). I'm sure you will see rain somewhere along the way.

That said, I know that Saturday will be fun regardless, and that good weather will be there. I'll be playing it by ear to do the BRP on the way down or way back depending.
