Check this Ebay Auction: 1990 928 S4

This is an interesting approach to scamming on Ebay. I have offered to go by and look the car over to no avail. ANyhow, here's the emails I received after requesting to be an approved bidder:

EMail respone #1:

Dear Customer,
The car is located in Kennesaw, GA. It has all the papers(complete) as well as the servicebook.
I want this transaction to be smooth enough as I am caught in the middle of some very important events and have very few time at my disposal. The car is in perfect condition, no scratches, no special marks, no need for additional repairs what so ever. 50K miles onboard, a great car ready to be yours. I am the first owner of the car and it has no accident or any engine problem.
The price is $4,500 including shipping costs anywhere in the continental US. There are no other costs regarding this transaction. Now, in order to be able to buy it please let me know if you have any negative feedback and, if this is the case, for what reason. I apologize for asking for such information but I need to be sure.
Please also provide me with the following details necessary to take a
decision:
-your full name and address for shipping -your ph# Regarding the payment I am aware of the buyer's protection and we will use eBay Motors secure payments which will hold the payment until the buyer receives the car. To complete payment the you must have cash available.
If I receive the requested information you will be informed by eBay during the next 12-24 hours.

So, I asked to be added and got the second response:

Dear .....,
You are the only approved buyer for this Porsche 928. Your details have been forwarded on to the eBay Motors Customer Department and I think that you have been informed by them about the details of this transaction. Now, in order for me to ship the car to you and go forward with this deal, you must complete the first payment process exactly as you have been instructed by eBay and SquareTrade. As soon as I receive the confirmation from eBay that you have made the payment, I will have the car sent to you and you will receive it in about 5 days. If you are no more interested in purchasing this item from me, please let me know ASAP because I have another 2 clients waiting for this item but I need your agreement to sell it to someone else.

I did get an email, but it was not from Ebay, it was from transactions-motors.com. All I have to do now is send $4500 to someone somewhere and await my 1990 car.

What a scam.

Hi Nicole,
My eBay ID is noof and I sell all types of photographic equipment from antique collector cameras all the way up to television cameras as well as related equipment such as lights etc.
I spoke to a power seller rep and she said she'd do what she could but, if you can believe it, there's nobody in safe harbor over the weekend!!

I'll bet Ms Bangs is a Private Mail Box company and that address in Enid, OK is right in the middle of a low rent district next to a cash advance and check cashing store. Anyone near Enid want to check it out and post a photo?

Further bet Ms Bangs is really named Haseem and has the mail forwarded from the Private Mail Box to him over someplace like Pakistan.
