Default Euro Intake on Ebay

Looks to be Euro, if it is indeed an 80 model. It does have CIS. He states other parts are available. Possible rebuilder if anyone is interested.

No Affilliation with the Seller

Not all Euro's had the dual distributor. Only the 84-86's did. If it is an 80, it should be a Euro since by 1980 the US models had L-Jet. Only a reading of the intake p#'s or engine code can verify.

If one is looking for a higher flow rate intake, the key word is EURO S - there were two different engines. One engine was essentially the same as the US engine (except it had CIS vs. L-Jet) and then there was the 300 HP Euro S engine.

There is a lot of snake oil sold, and unless the parts are specified by part number you may not get what you are hoping for.

ALSO BE AWARE: the 1980 - 1983 EURO S intake runners are only good for CIS applications (US 1978 - 1979). So if you are thinking of upgrading a US L-Jetronic fuel injection based engine, you cannot use these Euro or Euro S runners. You would need to use the 1984 - 86 Euro intake runners that are designed for electronic injectors.

The EZF spark system on Euros used the two distributor systems, this was ONLY 1984 - 1986, CIS systems use the same single distributor spark system as US 1979 - 1984.

The car shown has no rear spoiler so is probably NOT an S . The cams and heads IF it is an S is where the value is.
