I just want to say that the stuff is pretty good. My seats were so smootened out that you could slightly puch a quarter on them and it would slide across with easy. Felt like painted cardboard. I applied a couple of coats of the rejuvinating juice and there is a big improvement. No longer super smooth and it actually feels like leather. I figure a few more coats should do nicely. The next coat I will soak a bit and let sit. Just thought I would share for those that had reservations on the stuff.

I just received my bottle of "juice" yesterday. I'm going to try applying it and leaving the car in the sun like they suggest (with the dash covered, of course). The seats are only leather on the front surfaces, right?

I redid a bunch of leather in my Espada with it. Took it out, rejuvinate, work smooth, strip the nasty paint and goo off. Then I sanded and filled, redyed with an airbrush, and more rejuvinator. Finally reinstalled and it looks great. The kit cost me about $160, and I have a bunch left over. The estimate to replace all the pieces I fixed was about $2200.
Sweet stuff. If you follow directions, it's outstanding.

The rejuvenator oil is magical. It softwns good leather so much you can ply it by hand into shape around curves. The colour works excellently too, I use it all the time. The most important pitfall is prep. You must prep or you will be sorry. Seats require far more prep than low-traffic items.

I can recommend this product w/o any hesitation. One of the best car products I have ever used.
DO: Cover the seats in plastic, put them in the sun, let it marinate.
DO NOT: just put it on and take it off
DO: expect to really buff the stuff out if you let it sit for more than a few days.
DO NOT: worry about white spots etc, they will buff out, its crap bubbling up in the leather.

I'm hitting the seats with the Rejuvenator Oil tonight before we start trippin' to FLA tomorrow afternoon. Give it a day in the sun to soak in before we butt-buff it for a few hundred miles.

The only change I made in the prep process was to strip the old dye with laquer thinner. I took off gobs of dye, and undercoat with the thinner, then some wet sanding. Once I had a decent hide to work with, then the rejuv stuff worked into the grain. If you use laquer thinner, work in a very well ventillated area, don't try to do it inside a hot car, or you'll get sick.

I second Seth's suggestion on covering with plastic and parking in the sun for a couple days (windows rolled up) - I use black plastic garbage bags.
