Default Vibration at 36 MPH

I've recently noticed a vibration when I'm between 30-37 MPH. It seems to be concentrated in the steering wheel, but does cause the rest of the car to shake a bit.

I've read through the archives to see if I can pin-point the problem that way. My question is more about the speed at which the vibration takes place. Does this particular range point to any one problem over another?

Porsche built in a low-speed warning device. If you go below 40 you get the warning.

Actually it's most likely wheel balance, which can include incorrectly-worn tyres.

could even be a glob of mud on the inside of a front rim. DEFINITELY sounds balance related, tho.

I have that issue right now at 100. When this has developed before, a front wheel balance has solved the problem. That will be my step number 1.

Any ol' tire shop should be able to balance them, right? I think I'll try to get it done over lunch.

Welll.....yea...But - if you can find a shop with the Hunter ROadForce - they can fix out-of-round problems, too. (Did you flat spot the tires?)
