Default New Owner Dumb Questions (gauge function + harness connector)

I hope these questions are not to stupid. First off the car is a 1982 Euro 928S 5 speed.
What is the gauge in the bottom of the tach? it was moving up and down when i got the car now it sit at about 3/4 of the way to the right and does not move.
looks like some kind of fuel use indicator.
Next i found a harness with 5 wires by the fuse box has a small round white connector. blue, lilac, brown and brown with red stripe wires and a separate black wire with its own push on connector
lastly Bosch black box no. 0 335 411 013 has blue ,green, and grey wires running into engine bay looks to have been disconnected by PO also has ground and voltage taped into fuse box.
thanks in advance for any help

Congrats on your new addition and welcome.
Can't help you with any of the questions, but I'm sure someone will chime in.
