For Sale in Michigan 1989 S4 - 88k miles - $15k
We had a brunch run today at the Beech Grill in St. Clair Shores. Only 4 cars, but still fun. Jim Sheridan suggested this place and it was a good suggestion. Thanks Jim. Jim also has a 32' sail boat at the marina just behind the restaurant. So after brunch we went back to check it out. While we were there this 1989 Silver Metallic S4 pulled up by happenstance. The older gentleman driving the car got out and we started talking.
He's the original owner (well kind of - he and his his "pasrtner bought it). Has all the service records he says, and has a for sale sign in the window for $15k (USD). Car needs a good cleaning, and has a "ticky ticky" noise from under the hood. Interior was dark blue and in pretty good condition by the looks of it. It's an auto and the owner smokes.
Jim had his digital camera and said he'll try and post pictures of the car. (Note to self: Must find lost digital camera - soon!)
Anyway, the owner's name is Richard Fowler and his cell phone is 586-202-2320 in case anyone is interested. Price is a bit high IMHO, but maybe this guy is willing to negotiate. Who knows.
I don't know the guy, have no relationship to him, am gettin no commission, know nothing other than what I just reported above - and most of that is based on the owner's words, so take it at face value. blah blah blah.
