Hey derek,

Yeah having fun and a little grief... I am putting them on right now... taking a break for a bit ... but going right outside...

It is transparent blue over a fine silver. It turned out pretty neat looking... the usual flaw arose from outgassing of the mag/aluminum alloy... but it looked prett good overall ... some overspray onto most of the hose fittings to the intakes and filler neck but I used aircraft stripper that took it of... it turned it rubbery... and I cut it off with a razor... Now I am putting it all on!

How is the rocket ship treating you... getting bigger rubber? Sounds like a must...

I think 10" Rear/8" front is where I would like to be... but for now I will use the set I have up and then get some new rims and tires... getting suspension done soon...

I will let you know how it goes...

Default Powder Coat

Loren - - looks great!
Did you do the coating yourself? What's the equipment cost? What is the main advantage of powder coating?
If you have already posted all of the above - apologies

Default Hi All, thanks for the replies...

Taking shape... I am not ignoring just want to see it run this weekend...

I will reply to specifics soon...

Thanks for the positive feedback...

They are lookin' sick and even though there are some flaws it will be a lot tougher then the 19 year old paint that was flaking off into my intakes and heads...

Thanks,

LO
