AC condensation drain?
I would assume that if I was to leave the car running with AC on, windows down in the moist Florida heat that it should produce a fair amount of condensation water. I would also assume it should come out underneath the car.
BUT neither front nor rear leaves one drop in about fifteen minutes.
I have a strange odor in the car especially when I run the rear AC.
Does anyone have an explanation as to where the water might go?
How would I check front and rear drain?
Thanks,
Sab.

The front A/C drain is on top of the tunnel adjacent to the firewaall and drains onto the top of the cat. I would assume that the rear would drain on top of the transaxle, but that is a guess. The front is vry difficult to find with out some major disasembly of the center console.

An odd odor from the rear A/C unit is often an indication of a refrigerant leak - what you smell may be the oil that comes out with the refrigerant...

Hi Wally,
how can i take things apart around the rear evaporator?
I had my air recharged a while ago and had some dye put in to see any possible leaks.
What do you think, doesn't it seem strange that I don't see any condensation water, even though my AC is ice cold?
Thanks and regards,
Sab.

Sab, I just discovered a problem with mine as well. Not as serious as yours, but I have condensation leaking right on top of the accelerator pedal. Jim from 928 Int'l told me that is where the condensation runs down into the drain tube at. A bit of silicone solved my problem. Might be worth checking.

Sab - In fifteen minutes my car will drip little or no water. My car does not usually drop much if any water while it is running. When I turn the car off after driving around it immediatly drops a large amount of water.
I think my car has always behaved this way. Also, I don't know if or how your AC system is different from mine.
