Of course, this means that you have also checked to be sure nothing else needs attention; tie rod ends, ball joints, control arm bushings, wheel bearings loose? Anything else?
As I've stated before, my tech CANNOT check ride height on his DP 400 machine. There just is no provision for it. If this is your situation, you need to find a FLAT and LEVEL surface, locate your measuring points, check and adjust, then drive a few hundred miles, the bumpier the better, THEN go have your alignment accomplished.
Or, as in my case, get in good with your tech, tell them you aren't quite so certain about your ride height, but would it be alright to have the alignment, so as to save the front tires, especially, and later on, once you've managed to get the height adjusted, if it needed it, to pop back in, and get the settings rechecked?
Mine said confidently, no problem, any time!
Good luck in your search for a reputable tech!

If you know where the Eastland mall is, on Hamilton, in the Sears auto shop, ask for "Spencer".
D'you know Columbus at all?

P.S. The guys up Detroit way, if anyone is going that way, tout an alignment specialist up there as well..... I was going to go there, before I found Spencer.
