Gretch

I needed parts for my "other" Porsche, dealership wanted me to take out a morgage for 6 of them, local "national" parts guy wanted 150% of Dave's price, had to special order them, and I could only by them in a ten pack....

Shopping with Dave, I got 6 "worth their weight in platinum" plugs, and the air and cabin filters, for the same $ the national part guy wanted to sell me 10 plugs for.

I also note, because they too have come through for me, that Jim and 928 International got me a set of brake pads for my C4, faster and at a better price than I could find anywhere else (except at ' Specialists).

I know I should be ashamed of myself for asking these guys to find me non-928 parts, but DAMN......they are soooooo good at it.

BTW, just so you don't think I am a total mooch.....I bought a complete new clutch from Dave just recently. I put it on the shelf, since the old one still spins the sneakers........I WILL need it soon enough....

Finally it was openining week of turkey season last week. 22 pounds, 9 inch beard......HOOO Rah!! (film at eleven).
