Default After 1200km trip. :)

Ok, i`m back and ready to tell you what i saw.
The first car which go on fire was 90GT, but it wasn`t GT and it wasn`t from 90, but it was an essence of polish mechanic skills
But the second piggy (87' S4) was awesome. only one thing doubting me, on the driver side betwen doors and body he had only one sticker with paint code, there isn`t this big sticker with vin which i seen o 928s4vr.com.
This the VIN code, please decode WPOZZZ92ZHS841272
If u could me explain why HS84 not HS86, please check me this car wherever u can, it was imported from switzerland three months ago.
Ahh i almost forgot, what is a C10 in option codes?

no way ...

This is normal for many 'euro' or ROW cars.

This the VIN code, please decode WPOZZZ92ZHS841272

See Shanes note, or my post in your earlier thread : it is an '87 ROW indicated by HS84 ...

Ahh i almost forgot, what is a C10 in option codes?
Good luck with the "second piggy" .

As Shane already wrote VIN indicates it's '87 ROW car (Rest of World as in not USA and Canada model) making it true S4.

Code:
WPOZZZ92ZHS841272
123456789ABCDEFGH

123  = West-Germany, Porsche
ZZZ = Filler in ROW cars, VDS code in USA
78   = 1st and 2nd number of model designation, 92(8)
9 = Filler in ROW cars, check bit in USA
A    = Model year, H = '87
B    = Place of manufacture, S = Stuttgart
C    = 3rd number of model designation, (92)8
D = Market where car was made for, 4 = ROW and 6 = USA
EFGH = Running number within model, year and market
1272 means it was done fairly late in model year as VIN range for '87 ROW production should be 0061..1911.

C10 option code is country code for Switzerland. I think it brought with it catalytic converters and somewhat different exhaust (more quiet) than what normal ROW cars had.

Garth you really didn`t wanna see this gt, or whatever it was. But how about with this sticker?

If you mean the door VIN label, don't worry about it not being there ( that's what I meant above). It is not there on my '88 S4 'euro', but is on my '80 Can/USA spec car. I concluded that ROW cars do not have this sticker ... - it is not due to some Polish car salesman trick

Garth is correct. There are no VIN sticker in Euros at door post. Also there is no VIN plate under windshield on drivers side in Euros either.
