Default Back in a GTS

Well my search for a new car finally ended last night. I have been looking for a 91-95 5sp for several months and last night I picked up a black/black 94. The PO bought a new Carrera GT and needed more room in his garage. The car has impecable records and some interesting features like HID headlights and a Porsche keyless entry. It's a close to a new 928 as I have seen in a very long time and I am very happy it's mine.

They were installed by the Porsche dealer. I do not know much about them yet but I can say that they were great on my drive home.

Now ..there's a marketing idea for Mark.....replicate replicate replicate...bet if they work correctly...they would be tough to keep in stock...

Congrats on the unique GTS...

I'm with Heinrich and Tom, If you can put a kit together for HID lights you will not be able to keep them on the shelves (even for the, probably, near $2,000 price tag). Please look into it!

I don't know if you are aware, but Mark's company, 928 International, is in the business of selling 928 parts, both new and old, and kits (such as GTS aero mirrors). If he feels that there is enough of a demand, he will provide the supply.

Awesome news Mark, sounds like you'll be giving a new lease on life for a garage queen.

CATZ and other companies make HID kits for almost every kind of bulb out there. They were about $600 - $1,000 and pulled off the market by the DOT sometime in 2003.
A friend of mine installed a pair in his 87 Volvo 240 - daylight on demand is very accurate. What do the S4/GT's have for bulbs, H4's? If so, if you can find a CATZ H4 kit, you can convert your own.
