John,
I could possibly steal a weekend off to come and help you swap off the parts if you need
I have friends in the area so making an excuse is not hard

That is a very kind offer. But not necessary unless you'd like to see the rear end of a 928 apart and how to put it back together.

The back end is already apart from the body shop who did the repair estimate. The car is home. I'm piecing together parts (thanks go out to to 928 Spec., Walk K. and 928 Intl.) to put it back together. The inner bumper will probably get partially bolted on this weekend. I lucked out and got some used nuts and bolts and other bits from 928 Intl. that should ship today). So I'm looking at putting the rear cover on next weekend.

John,
Glad to hear the car is getting fixed. Hope to see you at SITM if I can get a room!
