Well, there you have it! If Jim says to get the TBF checked, then you better do it ASAP. Check either Captain Earl's page or BigDave's page. They both have write ups.

I do agree that it maybe that start of TBF but...has anyone done a basic battery, starter and alternator test on the vehicle that check for actual current draw of the starter both hot and cold plus charging output in volts and amps from the alternator???

Thanks guys.... To answer some questions.... Timing belt and water pump were done about 3k miles ago.. and the flex plate less than 1k miles ago. Flex plate moved about 1/16 inch. so no problems there... Cannot stress enough how well the car goes once it is started, and no job is to big as far as maintainance is concerned.. it is imaculate inside and out even underneath, and any spare time i have goes to keeping it that way.......Jim

Jim, I'm praying that it isn't your TBF and as such will not mention your 18 inch BBS alloys, MOT, inspection pit, Knockhill, Crail, autobox, starter, etc etc etc.
