Default Ebay S4 in Detroit Area

Anybody in the Detroit area (or any where else actually) know anything about this car on Ebay? Any Forest Green owners want to chime in? As far as green goes, I think I like Amazon Green better. (hope I put the link in OK)
TIA

Link is fine and the car looks very clean, but man that price is getting into GT/GTS territory. A bit high I think. Plus the miles are just too low. These cars LOVE to be driven and so a low mialge S4 IIHO may be worse than a moderate (80k-90k) speciman - it all depends on when the mile were put on. If it has sat the last few years, I'd stay away as you will indoubtedly have $2-3k worth of maintenance to perform in short order. No doubt the timing belt beeds to be changed, not to mention probably a good cleaning of the fuel system. You get the idea. As you probably saw, a bunch of us are getting together this weekend. Come join if you are interested.

I know this car and it is as advertised. The owners son works at Fred Lavery porsche as a new car salesman I looked at this car about five months ago they have all the records but as you see by the mileage it is not driven much I would think timing belt and waterpump and tires from sitting too long . check with Andy Yakima at Laverys in Birmingham I believe he will let it go for around $24,000 It is a nice car!

I've never seen/heard of that car before. Not surprising since it doesn't look like it gets driven much. Does look to be in excellent condition!

I liked "this color is rare enough so that you won't pass yourself on the road" - as if I see so many other Venetian Blue 928s or ANY OTHER color for that matter around here.

I agree, In our neck of the woods, just seeing another 928 is attention grabbing in itself! I am going to call him and maybe go look at it. I really think I want a 5-speed, but you never know.

Sadly not me. Depending on circumstances I'm either tied up at a family brunch or going to Greenfield Village.

Besides which my 928 is still at Howard Cooper getting its steering rack replaced. First they had trouble getting one of the parts and now that they've got the parts their alignment systen is misbehaving - so I won't be getting the car back until Monday or Tuesday. At least the weather next week is looking better!

There's still a small chance I can get free - if so I'll show up in the 'other S4' - Audi, that is.

Isn't that like a red-headed step child to the Porsche anyway? You'l be allowed to join the festivites, but you won't quite feel at home.

That 928 is definitely sweet. The low mileage makes it very attractive. Wonder what his reserve is set at, he was asked but wouldn't say. Anybody know if it has ever been wrecked?
