Should have gotten them here! We have a spare gasket if you need.

Thanks and let me know if you need the gasket.

Actually Dave;

That spare base gasket goes to the Ebay winner of a few weeks ago. Not sure if he contacted you yet but he was short-changed one gasket. I told him to not open the plastic bag until he talks with you.
Contact me offlist if you need more info.

I'll check again but I'm pretty sure everything else made its' way into the kit box in good order. Just the base.

Sorry Shane, we have an extra driver's side base, not passenger's side. I can get one to you if need be. Hmmmm, we do have a set painted red that were supposed to go on a 90' GT that no longer needs them.........

Scott, we haven't heard of any missing gaskets and have sold a few sets on e-bay. We would prefer to hear from the customer not second hand and we will be glad to make it right. I don't see any problem with him opening the bag, if it's not there, it's not there. We don't need notarized photographic proof........geez, it's a gasket.

We did send one set out without any bases at all, as soon as the customer informed us, we fed-ex'd him a set and we now open and itemize the kits. If we slipped up, it will be on the way today.

BTW, it was Garrity on my computer, not me. He misunderstood and thought Shane was missing the gasket. We have about a dozen sets on hand and they do not always come complete as we have found out. (almost never!) Kinda' strange, we also sell some to the 911 crowd and those sets always seem to be perfect. It's a conspiricy I tell you!

Seems Porsche doesn't check much these days or are just getting plain sloppy, I ordered new guides for the windows. All the part numbers on the sealed bags were correct but one of the parts in the bag was wrong ... hardly a dealer fault.

I always used to check to make sure I receive everything I ordered, now I check the actual part numbers on the parts ....

Our forum sponsor has my base problem taken care of. It wasn't even their fault and they are making good on it anyway. Somebody at Porsche dropped the ball, probably put the kit together before he had his morning coffee.

Correct Porsche is still having trouble getting all the parts into the box (like mirror glass)and not putting two of one side when the parts are mirror images of each other. Plus they are very creative at finding new ways to screw up the kits.
