Default Cams Installed...*pics*

I got the cams installed tonight and managed to throw together a page describing the process. I'll be doing the chain tensioners and cam seals soon.

Here's a link to the page with a step-by-step description

And a few pictures from my new page...

Nice write up. It's nice that you have all the special tools for the cams. I had to do mine withouth it. It's probably alot easier and faster using the tools.

Degreeing the cams will be the next. Take your time and make sure they are exactly to spec. If I remeber right the dial indicator will have to be in mm and not in inches.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I'm trying to make sure I get pages up for process that aren't already detailed on the sites for Tony Harkin and John Pirtle. Hopefully they'll be useful for someone.

Dave, are you gonna use the matchbook look method to keep the cams degreed? It makes life so much easier while assembling and timing the belt. I've used it on Ferraris, my Lambo, an old Lotus etc.

Honestly, I'm not sure I understand how that works, although I'm interested in trying it.
