Default Paint Job Complete

Got it all back together just in time for the track day yesterday where I picked up my 1st couple small paint chips .... ha the honey moon period was soon over ! Anyway just washed it to get rid of the all the dirt (it rained yesterday too) and brake dust.

Sport seats came in handy, slide around a lot less than the standard 'comfort' items.

Tint came out great, hopefully get some sun soon to go with it.

Anyway thought you might enjoy some more shots, shame there wasn't more direct sun to show off the pearl.

Chris

Chris,
Is this the stick on top GTS strip or a whole GTS rear end - looks like the real thing to me (seems to even have a bit of bowing for authenticity?)

No model ID on the back...

Looks very nice. That's the color I want! Is that the original color or did you change it?

Dave's rear end is GTS, (what color is your's Dave ?).

Here is a pic of mine.

Yes the Sports Seats were recovered locally, this is how they were before.

Here is a pic of the Amp/Subwoofer I did last weekend.

Chris,
Ah yes ... so taken with the photos I failed to notice that it was 2 different cars - separated at birth indeed - and by a continents width no less.

Dave - old backside get crunched? whats the story here?

Chris - excellent rehab of the seats, did you change the rest if the interior too?

Both cars look great ! makes me want to polish & wax... well almost...

That looks great in arena red. And much better than all the crash pics lately.

Alan, The car has never been hit, but the PO had put the GTS cover on the to upgrade the look. The PPI I had done before purchasing the car a few years ago confirmed this. The car had also been repainted at the time but the color is the original. It was done so well that it looks as though it is the factory original job.

That's gorgeous!!! My favorite color.

I may change mine to that color whenever a paint job is in order, but not sure if it will look good with navy interior. For now, just getting a bra since the front bumper is the only part that looks a little faded.

You done good!
