Here is my '87 5 speed almost done. Dave C. has been doing the work, much thanks to him.
Next pic is my '89 a/t done in silver to look original. Both got the whole treatment: knock sensors, hoses, gaskets, etc.
Bwaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!

Silver looks almost stock and very nice, but the red woow
That is eye candy for sure.
Half way on installing my painted intake, will post pics when finished.

Cheers/Peter

Peter, also check both circuits on your temp II sensor to make sure that the sensor is grounded through the crossover.

Hi Dave,

thanks for all the advice here, just checked and got 3,26 and 3,12 K Ohm on temp sensor 2 and ground.(both thermostat housing ground and chassi)
Looks to be within spec according to WSM.

Cheers/Peter

These are a set of 993 wheels 8x17 et70 and 9x17 et55 powdercoated black chrome. The 8" fronts have a 245 tire. Pot holes be damned!
Hopefully I can take my '87 with the red intake and these wheels to SITM. Can't wait!

Carl,
I'm sorry, again, that I won't be able to attend SITM this year!

Default Final result on my intake

Ok, here's the final result on my intake after putting it back into the car again.

Now the cam covers are crying for some treatment as well.
Will fix them after the summer season is over, now it is time to get back on the road.
It's been a lot of wrenching with TB, WP, Rollers, Camgears, ridehight, intake etc. etc.
Still not sure if the cam covers should be in the same colour or maybe silver instead?

Cheers/Peter

You already went with a pretty wild blue color, so you might as well go all the way, and do the cam covers in blue, get the blue nology plug wires, etc...
