I guess last night I had a little bit of a jerry McQuire syndrome and I felt that the world should know how important my words of wisdom were! the laws of diminishing financial returns obviously is a factor and the shark is no longer the latest greatest anymore and most people would probably want to move up? to a 997 or 996 turbo.I also second the thought that they will have to pry the steering wheel from my cold stiff fingers when its all said and done!

I have a GT that is fast, smooth and tight. Faster than my US spec 80. Strangely enough,I love the 80 for how it feels. With it's gearing, throttle response and the way the engine sounds, it seems faster than it is. These cars are fun to drive. Would I like a little more? Maybe an exhaust for the GT that is throaty but mellow. I could probably handle some more power, but in my world it's a little hard to use it all. I've also noticed that I'm less inclined to make 100 MPH + excursions in the 80, simply because the speedo only goes to 85. I'm not sure I want to go to the next level of performance on the street. I keep getting jaded, then nothing less will do. I think the track boys have the right idea. More power and a place to use it. Mostly though, I'm a fan of ZOOM-ZOOM BWAAAH!!! I just love the feeling.
