I would think no more then $5-600...depends on a lot of things, tho...You buying the shocks from whoever is putting them in? CA higher then ARK, etc...

The old "book time" is 3.5 for each front and 2 hrs each on the rears for 11 hours but that would be a lot of time. Much depends on the experience of the person doing it and how corroded the big rear suspension bolts happen to be. Also sneaking the front springs out of the upper A-arm saves a good bit of time over doing it by the book !! Tony Harkin has a nice HOW TO on his website , link in our store

I used one week of heating, soaking and the suspension bolt to get it out. Eventually it came out with the bushing it was stuck in and I had to replace both. Let's just hope your bolt is not that stuck!

Well it took me under 4 hrs with the struts/ springs already assemble. I have an excellent write up on it. Do a search and do it yourself and save a fist full of cash.

Funny you should mention it - that is my project today. Not counting the time to get up on four jackstands ( est 1/2 hr max), I've invested 2 - 2.25 hrs and all four shock assemblies are out. Knowing that all adjusters turn easily, estimate 1.5 hrs to compress the springs and replace shocks - and another 2 to reinstall. It would be much faster with a second set of hands, especially on the reinstall. Air tools compensate considerably.
For the fronts, tie up the caliper, and pull the rotor. Remove the lower shock bolt and the lower A- arm mounts. Remove the top 3 strut nuts, and you can now manage the weight of the spindle/hub/etc. to thread the spring out.
If the suspension heights need adjusting, that can be very time consuming - and best done at home.
