Anthony,
How's the CV boots on the halfshafts?
Take a peek under the back bumper. I've got a ripped outer boot on my 88.
Was easy to spot when on the lift.

Been taking my car up to CT for service.

Back to S02s and S03s - to be precise, what I should have written was 'cornering traction' not simply traction. I had one of the TrackMaster's senior instructors take me out in my '91 with fairly new S02s in the rain at Watkins Glen. And boy, was there sufficient traction! Obviously, in the wet it will be easily possible to break loose the rears with acceleration.
I got about 25k miles out of the S02s with roughly a dozen and a half track days. I replaced them when the rears were showing cord.
I have S03s on the track wheels now. Nothing yet to report though

I am starting to get accustomed to the PSD system. This is the first car I owned with traction aids. (Cayenne doesn't count here) It does make the car much more civilized and easier to stay out of trouble. Although I see how you can over power it. In a way the GTS is like the turbo, easy to drive, yet difficult to master. I may need to do some DE events to feel it out better.
I am thinking the S03's or the SO2A's. However, I do have to consider my wifes driving habits vs mine, which sends me in a different direction. I am seriously considering the Bilstein HD's and springs. The improvement on the turbo was amazing. I think the newer technology would work as well on the GTS and keep the back end more firmly planted.
ew928, I went through the entire car inside and out on Saturday during our monsoon, other than standard maintenance everything appears to be in place and in excellent condition. The car truly looks 1/2 its age and mileage.
KAmey1970, I find I am only happy with my own work. Although some jobs are best left to the pros, especially if they have the expensive tools.

Yeah, I got her of all days but April 1st. She is no joke. Quite the beauty, in excellent condition too. I am not to good at this but see if this works.
