Damn, damn & damn, sods law kicks in again, after all the my mate dumpd me for wife crap the "928 baby" bites me on the ***!!!
I abandon my car 20 miles from home because of the heavy clunk clunk, 5 days later move it to a mates house, still clunk clunk.
Jim arrives on his white horse and I take him for a spin to witness clunk clunk-
CLUNK CLUNK GONE!!!!
A fifteen mile round trip at varying speeds not even clink clink -YA BITCH!!

I hope to Hell that you're kidding about any of this. It's because I've paid attention to "most" of my wifes needs (including child birth) that I now have 3 928's in the barn. Well worth the compromise. And to this day when I tell her that one of MY babies needs something new she just says fine, whatever. Of course she also reminds me that my cars are the only "mistress" I will ever be able to afford!

We finally got round to changing the drive shaft, only to find that the other one had a burst boot as well. So after a rebuild on the drive shaft tomorrow he will be back on Tuesday for the next one to get changed. Getting good value out of that 3/4 drive power bar though. My brother has an 83, and he to has a burst drive shaft boot. With all the practice i have it down to an hour now.
