I have changed from my original flat dish wheels 225/50/16 to a set of Fikse FM10's at 9"x18" and 10" X 18". I am running Kumho 712's in 255/35/18 on front and 265/35/18 out back, what tire pressures should i be running? I am thinking i will have to go to Max recommended pressure to achieve the same load bearing characteristics i had with the 16" wheels, does that sound right? The tire shop Concurred with this thought, what do you guys think? I am looking for an even wear pattern without having to put chalk on the tires and watching how it wears off. I woke up to snow here in Iowa again...DAMN.

On my '83S Euro 5sp w/LSD, I have 17 x 10 fronts w/255x40 I run at 32 and 17 x 11 rears w/275x40 carrying 36psi. Seems ok for the street. If I were pushing hard on a track, I would go up to 36 in front. Probably leave the rears at 36 and then adjust based upon handling. I think 40psi is too high. Handling isn't better and ride is awful.
YMMV![bigbye](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/xyxwave.gif)

I run 255s on the front and 265s on the rear with 35 psi front and 34 psi rear. Tires wear as they should.
44 PSI is just plain wrong for a cold tire pressure of those sizes.
