Actually, that's the one Roger just bought. Bringing his count to FOUR now. I think he'll be sleeping in the garage for a few weeks once the better half learns of his folly. Looks pretty nice from here. I'm gonna go see it later today, and get the details. Hard to go wrong at that price. Wish I'd seen in first, bit if I bought it out from under him again, I'd be a dead man......

Looks like people are still bidding on it? The seats look just like mine only they are in better shape.

M406 928S - Anniversary Car , 82 "50 Years of Porsche" - MeteorMetallic w/Burgundy Interior.

The Wheels were also painted a different color, sort of a gunmetal grey. I actually have a new set of the special replacement wheel centers for this car.

Dave,
The wheels have been polished by the look of them.
I will bring them back to stock,
Any pics of the wheels in the original color?

After thinking about this I am 99.9% sure the wheels are body color , i.e. MeteorMetallic .

I will see if I can dig up those centers and post a photo for you.

Can that be stock? I've seen many of the Ferry Edition cars online and never one with body colour wheels?

Apparently it is - otherwise we would not see it in multiple places... I suspect it was only used in those special edition cars, but never became a choice for standard production models.

Interesting stuff... And no, I don't know everything!

JIM-H has my old seats that were from my 1982 metiormetalic with burg interior euro car. Had the oem flat wheels on them but i dont remember if they were a special color other than the anodized finish.
