oil pressure gauge
Hello all,
Just a quick question. What would cause my OPG to all of a sudden start going crazy? At idle it goes nuts but apply the throttle and it does what it's supposed to do.
Thanks,
Kevin

I agree with Kevin. The harness connection to the pressure sender is upside down. There should be a plastic clip to keep it in place. I'll bet donuts to dollars that that 15+ year old plastic is long gone. Since the connector is upside down it can get a bit loose and/or the connectors can get oil and crud in it.

As for the procedure? Raise front of car. Locate sender connector. Disconnect. Clean both halves. Re-connect. Install newly purchased plastic retaining clip if yours is MIA.
