Looks to be a 1980 US model, so it should have M28-14 or 13 depending on manual/auto. That's a 4.5L L-Jetronic with 220 hp and 265 ft/lbs trq. Look at 928gt.com under 928 Tips/Links, Tech Specs, and you will see vin #'s and so on. I believe Euro VIN's for 1980 started with 92A082XXXX.

Euro would be 92A080xxxx for 4.5L and (AFAIK) 92A082xxxx for 4.7L S. Jörg Austen's book gives 2 = 4.5L Japan but it's probably mistake.
