I like it. All I'd do is 3 things.
1) Ditch the mirrors. GTS mirrors would do the trick
2) ditch the wheels. Update with something more modern. Perhaps still color match them
3)Change the interior to Grey or Black

...well 4. ) add a blower so you could exercise the 335s you could fit easily in the back.

I think these aftermarket 928s will do well years down the road. Look at the value of OBs as of late!

ahem... I like everything widebodies... I don't know why. May be trying to make up for something or just fixated on being different. I would love to own a 928 truck too!!!! I appreciate the time and effort that goes into building the wider bodies...not to mention the performance advantage. I'm not a racer so I don't get to take advantage of the wider wheelbase, but based on street driving, the widebodies make me wonder if that is what it feels like, inside a Porsche 962 or Audi SR2 when they fly by the Corvettes and 911 in the turns at Le Mans or Petit Le Mans.

Well anyway, I would buy this one too, but I'm broke these days. If Mark would hold it, I would consider it in the future, when funds are available.

Good luck with the sale

Completely Ditto... except I would spell it "monstrosity".

BTW, if you don't want both positive comments and criticism, you may not want to post to Rennlist.

Or at least not let everyone know you have no patience for criticism in the initial thread post. It brings out the oneryness in some.

It's too unique for everyone to like it. I'm fully aware of that: it's '80's....but I'm also a product of the '80's. Most of my past Porsches were '80s cars:

1991 C2 Turbo: 387/423 to the ground (left side of garage)
1986 928S 5-speed: to be dyno'd in 2 weeks (right side of garage)
1985 928SC- moved to alaska
1986 928SC- 362/365 to the ground, 4psi
1988 951- 355/345 to the ground
1986 951- 287/310 to the ground (stock turbo)
1986 928S- before dyno's were around Austin
1981 928S euro- ditto above
1971 911 T: 2.8l w/webers: screamer
1974 914- too rough to keep
1974 914- too green to keep (says wife)

Default Hackles

It you look on Phil Tong's old list, you will see why he is defensive. It got a lot talk there first, maybe we should also be ornery b/c he posted it there first! Partly b/c he's asking $39.5K. He says he has turned down $29K.
