Anyone used the Jager Torque Tube Rebuild Kit?
A couple of questions about torque tube rebuilding in case I get to that point.
If you have used the Jager kit, how has it worked for you?
Do any of the Big 3 have a similar kit I just can't find on their websites?
If I decide to do the rebuild, are there other parts I should go ahead and order for a 5 speed from the Big 3 so I can get it done in a day?
Thanks!

John,
I make this very same part i did not know Jager had them however , i can sell them a bit cheaper.
I started this project when i did the TT on my 86. When i removed the bearings the bushing was shot . I tried to locate new bushings to no avail. I talked to several TT rebuilders , they use old cores to find useable bushings. I did not like this method ,as most of them are 15 plus years old now and brittle. So i got together with a close friend of mine (machinist/prototyper) and cut some new bushings out of delrin only enough for my car and one extra. All this took place 3 years ago since then i have purchased an 89 auto and a year ago the TT started growling , so i had to do this all over again however this time i made 50 pcs. i hopes of selling them and recouping some of my money . If you want to do this send me a PM or email and i'll hook you up.
Also i'm in Cumming, My car is at NorthPoint Foreign Auto (Joel's Place) he is doing the R&R on the TT and i am going to rebuild it on his bench so he can do them in the future. If you are interested you can come by and check it out.
Thanks , Bobby Huff
