Default 928 engine change questions (pics of new car)

Hey guys I have rejoined the 928 world, I picked up a 81 Euro S, full leather int, blk/blk, w/ S4 bumper caps,
the 2 downsides were the fact it was an auto, but the main 1 is that the origonal engine 4.7L euro had blown a head gasket and hydrolocked 1 cyl completely destroying that piston and cyl in the block, and actually cracked the origonal cyl wall inthe block, however the PO had the engine out and completely dismantled, he had then purchased a brand new set of 97.975 mahle pistons, and spare block,
but the price was right and I still have the engine from my 86.5 that has left us, as well as the S4 suspension from it, and the entire wiring harness and LH/EZK setup,

at this time I have completely removed the factory wiring harness and have converted over to the 86 wiring harness, (I HATE those old style fuses) I have fully completed the cross over and am going to be installing the suspension during this week, as well as the larger MC,
I had read on a couple of sites however that the pre 86 cars all came with the master clutch cyl bracket and that you just had to punch a hole or 2, well unfortunatly this is untrue, the car doesnt have the bracket, however I have gotten a bracket from a 89GT that was wrecked, and I have already punched the hole in the firewall for it and am just going to clean it up abit before I weld the bracket in as I will be converting it to a standard in the future,
as the car already has been modified with the S4 bumper caps it is obviously not origonal and seeing as I am dropping in an S3 engine anyway, I am modifying the car how I wish to, I have deleted the AC system and all uneeded electrical wiring componants. I am going to be converting and fabricating my own mounting system for electric fans on the rad, however what I am needing to know is for those who have converted to electric fans and how they have attached the throttle linkage up, as well as the tranny kickdown cable?

I am needing this info soon as I am going to be installing the engine probably this weeked, right after I install new oil pan gasket and cam gaskets,

pictures to follow once engine is installed and car is up and running.

Lizard I mounted my throttle linkage off of a 3"x4" piece of angle iron, which attaches to the supercharger bracket. It should be really easy to just mount that bracket right to the original spot for the engine driven fan on the water pump.

PS: Glad to have you back in the fold. Would like to come visit you again this summer, and see your new shark!

hey Heinrich, doing some snooping I see :P,
yah I am not a huge fan of the VIN being riveted onto the dash, but what can you do, and yah Shane I would love to have you Heinrich and John all come up again, and this time we can have 4 sharks roaming the woods
speaking of which if either of you hear from john tell him to fire me an e-mail,
thanx on that info for the throttle linkage, I think I will mod that factory bracket then, and will need to modify the factory 3 speed cable until 5 speed is located.
