Hello all... I just want to say a quick hi as well, as I'm also new to this board. I'm a recent purchaser of an 86.5 928S (funny coincidence), 5-speed, black on black. My wife also has a turbo 944 ('87) and she is a long-time post-er ("slinky") in other forums.

So anyway, hello to all, and I'm looking forward to posting more and getting to know everyone in this terrific (and fun) forum!

That is a sweet looking ride as well. Love those wheels on the vintage shark. Welcome to the shark tank.

Thanks Jeff. Those wheels are original dealer upgrade three-piece BBS, which makes them even better. I have the stock wheels too, but these just seem perfect for the car. : )

Nice ride! I had similar BBS wheels on mine, but they were gold (too much bling bling). I sold them and bought chromed slots....Wish I had the black ones like yours.

MCV200, I'd agree about the "bling" factor on gold wheels. Fortunately, my PO felt the same way, and even though the gold was an original dealer option, he had Wheel Collision Center re-finish them in black while he was also getting them straightened and re-polished. The black is amazingly originally looking though.

Michael, thanks for the kind words. I've been reading posts here for the last few months while searching for just the right 928, and it's been thoroughly enjoyable. Definitely seems like a good group!

It's good to see another 928 on the island. Why not take it to Tobay Beach this Sunday and auto-x it?

Charlie - There is an auto-x @ Tobay this Sunday? I don't see it on the Metro NY PCA schedule.
I have watched a couple, but I'm not sure if I am ready to compete just yet...
I'm guessing that you'd bring your Boxster?
