Default My Sharks back on the road.

Well after much labor I am happy to report my shark is zooming again. I ended up replacing the water pump, timing belt, rollers, seals, and rebuilding the belt tensioner. I also removed the valve covers form the 86.5 and let me tell you this ended up being much harder than the timing belt work on this car. I was amazed at how horrible getting those valve covers off to powder coat them was. I have done a couple S4s and my S was much harder. It didnt help that everything we touched was brittle and broke so we ended up replacing all the vacuum lines and breather lines. I think its a job well done no leaks and I have been running the crap out of it all weekend and it runs like new. My next project is to polish the factory wheels then I am done for a little while.

Thumbs up

Steady now...
Break any bolts?
Damn near 20 years old and rubber does deteriorate.
Good work
Enjoy.

Way to go!! Glad to hear you're back out terrorizing the SC streets. Hopefully those Camaro encased bears you guys have can't catch you!

Way to go. Fun to drive the shark after a bit of hibernation.
