My recently acquired 1995 GTS appears to my eye to be India(n) Red (it's a touch more muted than my guards red 1960 MGA). But the paint code is 80K and the door tag says "Guards Red".
[P. S. The paint on the MGA exactly matchs the guards red touch up canister I bought directly from Porsche.]
Don't tell me the Porsche assembly line is as ideosyncratic as that at MG.
