As I recall, this was a car that couldn't be registered in Florida(?) I'm curious as to how you were able to register it for the trip home.

Looks like a great trip, seeing the pics of "welcome to Texas" and Route 66 and Hoover Dam certainly brings memories, I've been there (I lived in TX for a year) - driving there in a new-to-you shark must be pretty cool !

James. I drove it with the tags that were on the car. They were good until the end of Feb. I drove for a few days with expired tags. Billy Jo Bob lawman in OK didn't say anything about it when he was writing me up for speeding. Guess I got lucky!

Glad you made it OK... I did a road trip, by myself, in my old '85 928S back a few years ago... just on a whim... 5,000 miles 10 days... it's the best vacation I ever took... memories were made and I'll never forget it. This is a classic car. it's the most beautiful that Porsche ever made, but it has the nature of a woman. Relish the time with her, cuase you'l never, ever forget her.

Write to the court in OKLA and ask if you can take a class. Maybe they'll OK a NV school or maybe you can do an OKLA online.

No need to tell NV, so you'll still have the option for the next ticket.
