Smile leather dash

Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum. Fixing up an 86.5 928 and have a few questions:
My dash has a few small cracks. I saw a leather dash kit on e-bay about a year ago but not since. Does anyone know where I could get one? It was not just a cover from what I remember it required the dash to be removed and the leather "glued" over the plastic.
Also having trouble with the starter relay. There is no ground on the transmission side of the relay not in park not in any other position. Don't have anything on the side where the ignition switch is hooked to.
thanks in advance

I believe the leather dash cover that you saw was made by Rob M Budd. He had them posted for sale on the forum a while ago, but I believe he stopped making them. I have one of the covers and have not yet had a chance to install it, but the quality is first rate.

Hi and welcome,
I have used Jager engineering for a number of items.
Very good products and good customer service.
The owner is on Rennlist and he may chime in.

Same here. Got the leather dash and glove box and the leather is a perfect match. Rob if you're out there. Thanks again.

Anyone have pictures? Does it look like a cover or does it have a relatively stock look?
Thanks

Hey Jenyap,
I have the leather dash cover from Jager. I like it a lot better than the cloth one or the plastic one. The price is right and it looks pretty good. Of couse not as good as a rehapolstered one.

David,
do you by chance have any pictures? How is the cover attached to the dash?

David,
any tips on installing the Jager cover? I just got mine and will be working on it in a few weeks when weather warms up(hopefully)
