Thumbs up I'm HIT !! - Progress Report

Update: Repairs about 2/3s done, as of 3/30.
BOO Hoo... this is one shared experience I didn't want.

A chevy Trailblazer turned in front of me; bash went
the left front fender and cover(& lower lights).
No one hurt.

The 'good news' is we were doing ~5 mph. She got
Kiln Red smear on her bumper; 'Sharkey' got an Owie.

Her insurance adjuster says they'll "make it good
as new".Time will tell.

Big boys don't cry, right?

Macreel...I have felt your pain and you are right...it just makes you feel like crying...I'm glad to hear no one was hurt and that the damage can be repaired. It is a terrible feeling , it's like losing your dog...sure is lonely when you don't have one anymore....good-luck and again I'm glad no injuries
Regards....

Macreel, I'm glad no one was hurt. That sure does suck though. I can definitely feel your pain, as I got bashed by a Ford Ranger on Valentine's Day. Hopefully they'll get her fixed up as good as new.

Your car is one of my screen savers from a picture I took of you and your wife at Shartktoberfest. I'm glad you are OK and I hope they can do a good color match on the repair - I really like that copper color.

Chazz... Charley, is that you & Valerie? Yes, the 'copper' color is
really sharp. The body shop fellow thinks he can do a match.
Sure hope so. Screen saver, eh? Didn't know we were famous.

Curt911... The sun is out. I'll dry my eyes and go snap some pics.
(What... are you a glutton for punishment?)

bummer! glad no human injuries - is this trash a shark month or what? I've counted a 1/2 dozen or so shark bites this month, including my own little paint mess... yiikes, starting to seem like a 928 demolition derby site... next month has to be better, or we'll never be able to insure these things again...(lots of good used parts for the survivors though)

sharky47... I grew up in AZ & TX (San Antonio & Hill country),
mostly.
Now we're in Seattle area and get down to s'west now & then
to visit relatives. There are a lot of "Porsche" roads
(route #s = model #s) down there to drive; eg, rte.962
east of you; 928 north of Lubbock; etc.

Awesome, you ought to come down to Fredericksburg some time, we have an awesome German resturant/microbrewery/biergarden!

Hmmmm....maybe it's not so bad the shark is still in surgery through February after all. Hopefully March will be a better month for the sharks on the roads.

Sorry to hear about your bump but glad you guys weren't hurt. Hope she's back to her old self soon!
