I have interest in this car in Minnesota. The owner lives in Wayzata but the car is kept some distance away at his weekend home. It needs TLC and he is asking a premium for the color. We have worked out a price and although it is higher than I would like to spend for a car with over 80k miles I am willing to take a chance if it is sound and the work he claims has been performed in fact has. I don't mind fixing the car cosmeticly but would like to know if the car has more issues than just age and hard use. Minor repairs are fine but major issues like the Flex plate and others I can do without.

My Father-in-Law has been back and forth in the Hospital and I am swamped at work. I have no time to fly out and see it. If I am going to proceed I need to do this before the weather gets warmer.

I was curious if anyone lives in the area that can take a look see for me. Also any advice on a qualified shop to do the PPI?
