Default Opinion on Wheels

I'm down to 2 sets to pick from for my shark. I was hoping to get some honest opinions on which would get the most looks. I need to buy ASAP before they get sold.

One is an Antera and the other is the 993 Cup. Both are 17".

Just an opinion... I think the Cup2 wheels are appropriate for the car.
They are clean but have add an aggressive posture to the car. I have poured through about 100 set of wheels and a found a few other sets that I liked... just not on the 928.

From the photo the antera seems bulgy... besides if you change your mind some will buy your C2's

I think the Antera wheels add too much of a rounded element to the car. The Cup wheels would make a classy addition to your already very clean 928. Just my opinion...

I like the cups.....especially in 18" However my personal favorite is the 996 lightweight 5 spoke...nice thin spokes!!! Bummer is they are quite pricey!

So you are trying to decide between Antera cheapo wheels and OE Porsche wheels? To me that is a no brainer, especially with Cup 2's since they are really light.

The 993 style wheel is more readily available and likely to be in production in the future which is important should you need a replacement wheel in the future ...There are many people with old mesh BBS RS wheels who have only two or three of what was once a $3,000 set of wheels at one time. And no one has replacement wheels or parts!

I would definitely go with the Cup 2 wheels.

Thanks all.... I only had a reserve about the cups because one is less shiny than the others. Looks like someone may have painted it and did a poor job. It has a rough finish and the others are smooth obviously the stock finish.

OE Cups look nice on a 928...

I have the 996 lightweight wheels, but I wanted 18in, and I also wanted OE Porsche Wheels...

Good luck,
