Seeing if someone might know the name of a movie that had a somewhat odd scene with a 928...

I believe it was the ending scene of the movie showing a 928 driving down a desolate road. The driver pulls over, gets out, stuffs a rag in the gas tank and lights it up.
The entire car ends up engulfed in flames as he's shown calmly walking away. It was a what the hell am I watching moment.
If I recall, it was a white OB in nice condition. The lit rag seemed real, but almost positive the rest was done in CGI flames.

I happened to catch this about 10 years ago on a blind scan feed from my FTA satellite dish, so it wasn't on an official network channel. Was not in English, possibly out of Germany?
A show called Commissaire Cordier might be a possibility, but I can't find that scene.

I’m sure it’s mentioned in here somewhere, but after rewatching the original Beetlejuice movie, a red 928 owned by the Deetz’ is seen parked outside the home.
