Are solid lifters available for the 32 Valve motor?

I'm claying a piston for an S4 motor, trying to see what it will take to make the 32V non interference. In order to get accurate valve relief impressions, I either have to find a way to keep the stock hydraulic lifter "expanded" or get a solid lifter. The engine is on a stand (not at operating temperature, with no oil or oil pressure). Can someone suggest an easy answer?

Lex,
we use a tool that pressed in the valve an dattaches to wher the cam bridge attaches. It is a simple flat pc of steel with a screws taped in at the requisite angles. You screw in the screw and watch the dial indictor for lift.

That's a result I'd be interested in.
I'd think all the abnormally aspirated guys would be as well. Cheap TB insurance with no or neglible loss of performance

I was at the junkyard yesterday, and I noticed 924 engines have what looked like hydraulic followers.
On closer inspection, I saw that there is a hole in the side of the follower, in that hole there is an allen bolt, I presume for internal height adjustment.
