Default Surface Rust

I live in Louisiana, where it is impossible to get away from moisture. Mine is not an every-day driver and after a few days, I notice that there is minor surface rust from moisture built up on the rotors' surface and the hubs. While a couple of stops take care of the rotors' rust, I'm looking for a remedy for the hubs. I've tried to keep them wiped off, but climate makes this a losing battle. I don't want to use anything that will damage the brakes' from a performance standpoint, but am thinking about appearance, too. Any suggestions?

I'd like nothing better, but again that moisture (rain) thing! Call me what you will, but I don't drive in the rain; way too many morons that don't know how to drive in dry conditions, let alone wet! If you think it's bad in the rain, you ought to see when it gets below 30F for a few days; ice capades!

No - he's right I get this on my brand new Zimmerman cross drilleds. I am thinking of paint - eagerly awaiting answers.

What type of specs/temp rating does the paint need to have. Also, how much prep is needed; obviously the rust needs to go first, but what else?

I wouldn't think the hubs would get hot enough to warrent high temp paint. Like stated above I would clean up and spray with a decent paint in your favorite color. You could even spray the hubs with clear if you don't want color. You just need to keep oxygen from getting to the surface.
