Default What are they/where do they go? (engine bay connectors)

There should be 2 pictures on here to help with identifying.

I have two problems with connectors, one I don't know what it is and the other two what they are or where they go. The first is his one which is a 3-prong connector found directly behind the right TB cover. It is held by a small bracket next to where the coil wire is screwed in. The problem is one of the connectors is torn into pieces. It fell completely apart into tiny pieces when the main wiring harness was pushed back through there. I could connect the three exposed prongs back, but don't know what direction they go in. I also don 't know what this connector is so I can order a replacement.

The other connectors are the two I don't know what they go to, or where they plug in. The wires for them start at the right, front of the engine bay and the connectors were laying in the right, back of the bay close to the coolant reservoir.

Thanks!!!!

Yup..i believe you will loose 6' of timing with out them hooked up.

Your car will over heat with out the fans also.

You need to order a new hall sensor, I had to replace mine. The sensor comes with a new connector. Replacing it is a little trickey because its hard to get to. Remove the motor lift ring and you will have a little more space to work.

Thats intersting. Can you actaully get it out from the back side? I have see the 2 bolts there that appear to hold it in place but was under the impression it was secured from the front side as well (hidden under the cam sprocket)

My wiring was all trashed as well on the sensor I did manage to salvage it and make a new connection. Im going to test mine on a scope next week to be sure first. thanks Dr Bob

Thanks for the info guys!

Tony...I figured out the fan connectors before I came back to check for answers felt like an idiot there. I had disconnected them and laid them back there. I guess that's what happens when you take 3 months to complete a timing belt job, eh? I was told the mind starts to go first and it's going fast and early over here.

At this point I've changed the TB, WP, PS Pump, Coils, Caps-Rotors, Wires, Plugs and working on the Clutch Release Bearing, bushings, plate, etc. and CV boot replacement so what's another part or two..or three...or four....or ten? I just want to get her back on the road so I can stop driving that !@#% Dodge every day.

Tony,
Yes you can replace the hall sensor by removing the 2 allen screws....but it is not easy. Very little room to work!!
