Default How bad is this for the alternator?

I don't have pics, but I think I can describe it. The alternator is mounted with three bolts (2-8mm & 1-10mm). The hole for one of the 8mm bolts (the one that is mounted farthest to the left) is mutilated to the point a Time-Sert can't be put in to remedy the problem. (frickin' POs)

I don't know what kind of pressure is put on the bolts so if anyone knows if it will be ok or not please let me know. I don't know if the 3 bolts are more for overall strength or for strength against rotation, etc.

I've thought about replacing the bolts with Grade 8 for extra strength or a larger Time-Sert in the 8mm bolt's hole for a larger, stronger bolt to help compensate.

If you know what kind of problems this may cause and/or have any suggestions (short of a new block) PLEASE HELP!!
