Looks well executed, but not to my tastes, destroys the original lines and homogenizes the 928 to a box look. "only very serious bidders" + "no reserve" = hype IMHO. Sparse ad.
I'm wondering how he got 350 HP from the euro, but I'm not really interested so I didn't ask.

That is only the 2nd "DP" 928 i have ever seen. I used to have a small picture of one on my desk in College. Its was a stone metallic grey color. Very 80's looking but i think it is a rare car IMHO.
not a bad price! So far

I think the older car's original lines look better.
I like custom cars, and I think the OBs could use some help.
But I agree that this one looks very 80's.
Especially the side vents. Testarossa! Ugh!
The rear looks overly wide, without integration into the rear bumper.
So it looks like the fenders are just flared, without any blending.
So it messes up the smooth roundness of the original lines.
The front is not too bad, although I can's see the front view.
But what I can tell, it looks pretty good.
The main problem on the front, is the same problem
it has on the rear. Which is that the hard line where the
front bumper meets the body, does not go with the smooth lines
of the new bumper and flares. It all needs to be smoothed out and
rounded, if that is the direction you are going with it...
Oh well...
A piece of 928 history I suppose, and probably rare.
But not my style.

Looking at that... I don't think i'm doing too bad with my backyard design on Fat Bully...
I like how they did the wheel arches behind the front wheels though... and the back's not bad either.

Here's an s4 DP car:

But this OB looks like it has something like a Jacquemond/Strosek front end...

"The oil has been changed every 500 miles"
Really? He says that he uses Mobil 1 in the transmission and differential, so it is reasonable to assume Mobil 1 in the engine as well. 100 oil changes at $50 each is $5000 on oil changes.
And I thought that you guys who insist on 3000 mile changes were wasting money!

Don't think that is an S4, yes it has S4 tail lights, BUT "S Rear Spoiler", 84 and Earlier Power Antenna, AND S type Left side CORNER exit exhaust instead of "straight back left rear" exhaust.
Of course only the builder knows for sure :-)
