The Madison Sports Car Club ( my club ) just celebrated its 50the anniversary.
We have had special activities all year long, but we capped it off by bringing in Sir Sterling Moss to have dinner with us last night.
What a wonderful gentleman! I had read his autobiography, and he told many stories of racing with Phil Hill, Juan Manual Fangio, driving the Mercedes Benz works cars and the Masaratti Bird Cage and the winning Aston-Martin D-series, what it was like to drive the Mille Miglia, the Targo Florio, Nurburgring, and others. . He was still spry and sharp as a tack.
A real delight to meet and get to talk with one of the greatest racing drivers the world has ever known.
Photo below is him signing my book.

Do you guys read the magazine Octane? He's got a regular column in there, along with somewhat less likely motorsport enthusiast Rowan Atkinson, and Jay "geeze this guy's everywhere" Leno.
