Have the engine out and basically stripped, cam towers and head off. Still can't find the non return valve that is supposed to keep oil in the supply that comes up through the heads.

Any advice on where this is?

I may be wrong but, I think that is only on the 4v head. My quick look at the Part & Tech ref manual shows it on the 944 85 1/2 and up and the 4v 928 head.

Someone will surely correct me if i'm wrong.
