Spare questions
My '82 project has upgraded brakes but no spare (thanks to the PO and his big honking subwofer box). I'd like to get a spare but not sure what size, so I have a few questions:
1. As I understand it, the 15" spare fits over S4 brakes, but the 16" is needed for GTS brakes. Is this right? Where there any other size spares (like for early cars)?
2. I know the brakes have been upgraded, but I'm not sure to which ones. The rotors are drilled, but the calipers aren't red or black so I'm thinking they're S4. What's a quick way to tell?
3. Will a 16" spare spare fit in the '82 storage space?
4. The car has 18" wheels. Should that make any difference in my selection?
