Default yellow Shark siting - Houston/Katy

Drove in front of a yellow GTS for about 5 miles tonight. I've had the car almost one year now, and it was only the THIRD 928 I've seen while driving mine (not too great considering the metro population is around 4.5 million).

It was a (speed?) Yellow GTS with same-colour wheels. Looked mean!

Is this anyone here on Rennlist?

I would love to own a GTS with that factory color.

That is the elusive car that at least three Rennlists are lusting after!!

Next time you see him track him down and pm me.

I would be happy with ANY GTS or even a 'lowly' GT or S4 instead of my dinosaur S2

Anyways, I didn't think that any 928 was available in yellow unless special ordered? Seeing the wheels the same colour makes me think it's not factory - heck, it might not even be a GTS even though it had aero mirrors and the GTS rear bumper...!

Scott - I was hoping to talk to him, but it was rush-hour and I wasn't able to really flag him down (especially since I was 2 cars in front). I turned at one point and was hoping he was going to follow me, but no luck...

I saw that same car on 9-27-03 while coming down for the Texas Sharkfest (9-28-03). I was going south and it was going north, a little north of Dallas.

I wouldn't doubt that it was the GTS. To me it's been one of those stories... a friend had a friend that knew the car...
A few years ago I tried to locate it for one Bill Suhosky as part of a deal I had worked out with the Tilo car. We never could track it down and the money I had earmarked for the Tilo car was better spent (on a divorce!!). I have a picture of the car with partially blocked plates but it did say Texas but that is all.

Actually what I really wanted to see was the yellow rims.

I saw a yellow 928 with yellow wheels and right drive in Hong Kong several years ago. I must say it was striking.

The one in rixter's picture is more like what I saw.

Edit: maybe it wasn't....it didn't look as......ghetto; plus, I think the wheels were wider and larger. It was bright though.

Where were all you yellow wheels lovers when I suggested painting my wheels this color? Man I didn't feel the love then. Next thing I know you guys will be knocking my blue headlights, fuzzy dash, and the big 'HONDA' I had painted on the side of my 928.
