I waiting for a hole in this winter weather pattern to take my car out of storage, bring it back home and replace the head gaskets.

1. Ball joints
2. Struts
3. Brakes (paint too!)
4. Tie Rod ends
5. Flush Brake fluid (trying the power bleeder! )
If time permits (or I get the curage)
6. Repair Cruise brain
7. remove cats
8. Fit 85-85 headers
9. adjust door locks

I think that's the bulk of it. 1-5 is already in process. #8 scares me because I don't want to break a stud.

Chilly on the south side. To be 79 F up here today.

Car is still on blocks with the tranny to come out. Going to try to get to that this weekend - there have just been too many "honey dos".

Once tranny is out, then that is the car stripped of everything, down to the last nut and bolt, and the bodywork can at last begin.

1st job is to strip and epoxy prime the underside. Will look into getting the frame rails "squared" where POs have been jacking it. From there onto the inside - strip and prime, and finally the exterior.

I just need more time in the day

Diff. Fluid Change - Done
Oil Change - Done
Wash/Wax/Interior cleaning - Done
Exchanging bolts on Test Pipes to S.S. - Almost Done

TB/WP - soon enough
Coolant Change - during TB/WP
Bleed Brakes for ATE Gold along with Clutch - Come Spring
Check Clutch plates - while I'm in there.
I'm going to see about the Head gaskets and maybe try Torquing the heads down to see if that helps. - During TB/WP
PS Lines/check change - During TB/WP
Torwue down the oil pan Bolts to stop seeping. - Before Spring.

And that's it.

I am getting withdrawal symptoms ... not even able to see my 928 as its been out for paint since just before xmas, the garage is v empty, that was the good thing about having two of them. Anyway:

1. Complete Respray in Arena Red, including rear spoiler
2. Aero Mirrors
3. New door, sunroof, hatch and lock seals
4. New window guides
5. GTS winshield seals
6. Add soundproofing to door panels
7. New amp and subwoofer enclosure in hatch
8. lots of sundry stuff which adds up but too annoying to list on re-assemby after paint

If I have any budget left over, koni/eibach suspension.

9. Also need new transmission mounts, oil change too ...
10. Rear quarter panels need some minor work (thats this weekends task).

Never a dull moment.

In order of priority (hopefully all will be done before our next track attack in April haha)

- adj timing to spec on passenger bank cam
- rebuild tensioner
- re seal oil filler at base (under intake..dang it)...
- holed rotors all the way round..(this time with slightly less aggressive brake pads ;-) )
- double disk retrograde
- put on those nice red 8.5mm magnecore wires sitting in a box for a few months now..
- and on the inside add three way boston acoustics (or eqiuivalent) component speakers in the door..
- rewire the stereo to feed the rear seat speakers and have the amp power the fronts (bridge a channel for a sub)
- add a sub in the spare tire well..
- pull the pod to figure out why the outside temp sensor is not working

Thats it for now....
Caution...list contents will change on a daily basis depending on weather and or cash available..haha...

later

Only 74 here in Dallas, so I will only run the A/C long enough to get everything nice and lubricated.

My winter project is to hide the wires from the XM radio antenna.
